Chinese Zodiac Compatibility — Match All 12 Animals
Chinese zodiac compatibility for all twelve animals: Six Harmonies, Three Harmonies, clashes, and how each animal pairs with the other eleven.
How does Chinese zodiac compatibility work?
Compatibility in the Chinese system is read from the relationship between two branches, not from the animals themselves. Two signs can be in harmony (liuhe or a sanhe trine), in opposition (a clash), or in the milder frictions of harm and punishment.

About the clash
Six pairs sit opposite each other in the cycle and are said to clash: Rat–Horse, Ox–Goat, Tiger–Monkey, Rabbit–Rooster, Dragon–Dog and Snake–Pig. A clash means two people who pull in genuinely different directions. Handled consciously that is productive — it means someone is always questioning the plan. Handled unconsciously it is corrosive.
And remember: your animal is one pillar out of four. Two people with clashing animals and compatible day masters often do perfectly well.
